Twin Flame Astrology

Because I have been asked this by several people and because I personally find astrology endlessly interesting and entertaining: here is an overview of what your combined birth charts (also called a synastry chart) can tell you about your twin flame connection.

Let’s focus on some terminology first:

Astrology tells us what may happen, how, and where. I’ll be explaining this through tropical astrology, but there are of course other schools.

In your birth chart, you can find your Sun, Moon, Mercury, Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Pluto, Saturn, your North and South node, and several other points of reference. They are in a specific zodiac sign and also in a specific house. The planets tell you what area of your personality is affected, the zodiac sign tells you how it is affected, and the houses tell you in what area of your life it is affected.

When you calculate your birth chart, you can see the planets in their respective houses and signs. This is different for everybody.

Important points for Twin Flame astrology are:

– 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th House

– Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus

– North Node and Chiron

Houses:

2nd: Others, relationships

4th: Home, family

5th: Romance, creativity

7th: Marriage, relationships

8th: Sex, death, rebirth

Planets:

Sun: Self, ego

Moon: Emotions, creativity

Mercury: Communication

Mars: Action, physical drive/sex

Venus: Love, relationships

North Node and Chiron placements:

Your North Node indicates your fateful destination in life. It is a lesson you are meant to learn in this life and then live out. Chiron, also named the Wounded Healer, indicates where your deepest wounds are that need addressing.

If you have enough information on your Twin Flame, you can draw a synastry chart that highlights how all these points interact with each other in your charts.

Key Twin Flame interactions:

– Sun signs are often either the same element or complementary (fire+air or water+earth);

– Tight conjunctions and/or trines (a sextile is a half-trine) between important planets;

– Important planets in the other person’s important houses;

– Harmonious but also challenging aspects.

For instance: my Twin has their Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Neptune, Pluto, and North Node all in important houses on my side. As I don’t know the time they were born, I can’t say anything about my planets in their houses.

I can, however, see that we have a lot (20) of tight aspects regarding our important planets (half of which are exact). Most are encouraging, some are challenging.

We also have Venus trine Mars both ways, and the same goes for Mars trine Pluto. These are positive aspects. Mercury opposite Mercury is a fun little communicative challenge. All five of these aspects highlight the way we confront and mirror each other.

Great breakdown, Lara!!! I don't necessarily understand a lot about astrology myself (it's confusing as hell to me lol), so that was a good explanation for people who might not know how a lot about it!

Also, I did a little bit of my own research, and my Twin is a Water (Sun) sign and I'm an Air sign; she's a Scorpio and I'm an Aquarius 😕 So idk what that means
