Guidelines For Posting/Commenting

  1. Focus on your story, not the gory details. Chances are, a lot of your readers are going to be liomenoprosopophobes themselves - meaning they've had similar experiences to you that they most likely don't want to relive. So when writing your story, just focus on how the phobia has impacted you, and leave out the triggering images, audio and speech. Your readers will get it.

    1. If you need to use certain words that may be triggering, refer to the Warnings Key under the Contact/Submit tab to learn how to censor them.

  2. Be respectful of everyone, regardless of their experiences. While some people have severe liomenoprosopophobia, others' experiences may be more mild. Even people who are not liomenoprosopophobes themselves may have come to this site to learn more about the phobia, so they can figure out how to be more kind to people who do have it. If you fall anywhere on this spectrum of experiences, you are completely valid - so remember to treat everyone here with kindness and respect.
